For most modules, the free tier of ChatGPT or Claude is sufficient. Module 04 (Claude in Excel) requires a Claude Pro subscription since Claude for Excel is a beta feature. We explain exactly what's needed at the start of each module.
Excel 365 (Microsoft 365 subscription) is required for the Copilot and Claude in Excel modules. Google Sheets works for the foundational modules and downloadable templates. If you only have Excel 2021 or earlier, Modules 03 and 04 will not be applicable — contact us before enrolling.
No. Module 01 starts from zero on the AI side. If you know month-end close and financial reporting, you have everything you need. AI tools are introduced step by step from the beginning.
